TEDx - Ideas worth spreading

When an event kicks off with a several hundred-strong group hug then you know you are in for something special.  TEDx St Peter Port 2016 did not disappoint - it was truly an amazing, amazing day which Bonsai were honoured to be a part of.

TEDx, like the TED Global parent program comprises an extraordinary day full of inspiring speakers from around the world each talking about their passions, experiences and differing fields of expertise. The result was extraordinary and universally well received by all those who were fortunate enough to spend the day there.

World class events of this calibre were rarely seen with any regularity in Guernsey not so long ago however since the Dandelion Project was conceived things have changed dramatically and for the better in that regard.

This was the third TEDx event staged by Team Dandelion, who's aim is to make Guernsey the best place to live in the world by 2020, and was the best attended yet with the Beau Sejour theatre nearly full to capacity. Bonsai styled areas for chilling out, eating, chatting and generally relaxing (you can see our tables, chairs, sofas etc when you pan the timelapse camera around).

We'd go again immediately if we could so we can't wait for 2017's event!

Dandelion Project for having the vision, bravery and persistence to make Guernsey the best place to live in the world - and to keep staging world class events here in the singular pursuit of that goal.
